Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals Tosses False Endorsement Claim Against Search Engine and Adult Social Networking Site

On the September 30, 2010 the Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals in Stayart v. Yahoo et al found that the plaintiff did not have a protectable commercial interest in her name under certain sections of the Lanham Act and thus affirmed the trial court's dismissal of such claims against a major search engine and adult social networking site.
